Why we exist

Travel data pricing is a mess. We watch it for you.

Every eSIM seller says they are the cheapest. Most comparison sites rank whoever pays them the most. Travellers end up paying two or three times the fair rate for the same gigabyte of data, sold under a different label.

eSIM Watchdog does one thing. We pull live prices from provider catalogues, work out the real price per gigabyte for every plan, and rank them by that number alone. No labels, no sponsored positions, no editor with a favourite. The maths decides.

What we track

The numbers behind the site

We compare thousands of plans across more than 190 countries. Every page shows the exact date and time of our latest price check, in GMT, so you never have to take freshness on trust. Our country guides also carry researched facts: which local networks the plans use, real coverage figures from regulators and measurement firms, SIM registration laws, and the airport SIM reality on the ground. Where we could not verify a fact, we left it out rather than guessing.

Independence

How we stay honest

We may earn a commission when you buy through a link on this site. That is the whole business model, and it is disclosed on every page where it applies. Three rules keep it clean:

Rankings are automatic. Every table is sorted by real price per GB, computed from live data. No human moves a row.
Nobody can pay for a position. A provider that pays us nothing can sit at the top. A provider that pays us can sit at the bottom. The table does not know the difference.
Reviews are moderated by a human. Providers cannot buy, edit, or remove user reviews.
