GigaPanda eSIM review

Read this before you buy from GigaPanda

GigaPanda is a Peruvian eSIM brand whose company checks out against the Peruvian tax register, with a wide catalogue across 130 or so countries and unlimited plans that state their daily allowance. Two things matter more than the price: using your phone as a hotspot is forbidden and gets the eSIM blocked with no refund, and several of their own pages contradict each other on how the plans work. They are also dearer than our cheapest option in almost every country we compared.

• Do not use this eSIM as a hotspot. Their help centre and terms say sharing your connection is not allowed, that trying it blocks the eSIM, and that a blocked eSIM is not refunded. That rule appears on every product page we checked. Their partner feed says the opposite, that hotspot is allowed, and we have ignored it because following it would cost you the plan.
• The company is real and registered. GigaPanda is a brand of INTI MOBILE S.A.C., Peruvian tax number (RUC) 20614333597, at Av. Abel B. Du Petit Thouars 1775, Lince, Lima. Public SUNAT data shows the company as active and reachable at that address, registered in June 2025. Their terms are governed by Peruvian law.
• Unlimited plans state a daily allowance, 3GB or 2GB depending on the destination, after which the connection slows until the next day. What it slows to is not clear: their product pages say 1 Mbps, while the data they give partners says 384 kbps or 128 kbps depending on the plan. We publish the daily allowance, which both agree on, and not the speed, which they do not.
• Their own pages disagree in three other places. The help centre says a plan starts when you first use data at your destination, while the terms say it starts when the eSIM is downloaded and connects. Product pages give you 90 days from purchase to activate, while the terms say an unused eSIM is deleted after six months. And the help centre says you cannot top up, while the homepage and a July 2026 blog post say you can.
• Refunds are narrow and discretionary. You must report a problem at the time it happens. For faults they accept as theirs they look at replacing the eSIM first and refund only if that fails. Buying the wrong destination, an incompatible or carrier locked phone, dead spots and a hotspot block all get nothing. If you cancel by choice, 5% plus 5 US dollars is deducted.
• Some data packages are shorter than they look. Most last 30 days, but in several countries the 3GB package lasts only 7.
• There is no independent feedback yet. Their Trustpilot profile was claimed in September 2026 and has no reviews at all.
• On price they sit high. Comparing their cheapest data package per gigabyte with our cheapest listing in 127 countries, they came out ahead in one.

We list GigaPanda because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
