Who is CocoRoam?
CocoRoam is a travel eSIM reseller covering around 190 countries, selling plans sourced entirely from eSIMCard. Its catalogue splits between fixed data bundles, which we list, and unlimited plans, which we do not because no fair use figures are published. Everything is bought on the web and delivered as a QR code.
Read this before you buy from CocoRoam
CocoRoam does not run its own network or even its own inventory. Every plan in its catalogue is eSIMCard's, resold, and eSIMCard is already on this site. That means you can usually compare the two directly on the same page, and on most plans the original is cheaper. There are exceptions where CocoRoam is dramatically cheaper, so it is worth checking rather than assuming.
- They resell one supplier. Every single plan in their feed names eSIMCard as the provider, and we list eSIMCard directly too, so the same underlying plan often appears twice on a country page at two different prices.
- On most plans the original is cheaper. Comparing 2,207 plans that exist on both, CocoRoam is dearer on 1,966 of them, which is what you would expect from a reseller. The interesting part is the other 241, where CocoRoam is cheaper, sometimes by a lot: an Afghanistan 1GB plan is $4.10 here against $14.71 from eSIMCard direct.
- We do not list their unlimited plans. Their terms say unlimited is subject to a fair use policy but never publish the daily figure or the speed you drop to, so there is nothing honest to rank. That is more than half their catalogue.
- Refunds are clear and reasonable: 14 days from purchase as long as the eSIM has not been activated, refunded to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.
- The company behind it is not named. Their terms are governed by the law of England and Wales but no company name or registration number appears anywhere on the site, so there is nothing to check on a register.
- Thirteen Trustpilot reviews at 4.0 on a profile claimed in March 2026. Too small a sample to mean much either way.
- A handful of their plans include calls and texts as well as data, which we mark separately in our tables.
