esim0 eSIM review

3.9

The short answer. esim0 sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 202 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.57 per GB. Its median rate of $3.10 per GB is about 10% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 10 GB a day at full speed.

Have we checked these prices?

Not yet. esim0's prices here come from their own feed, and we have not built a checker for their shop yet, so nothing on this page has been confirmed against what a buyer actually sees. We are adding shop checks provider by provider and this page will say so when it is done.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

esim0 did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.

About esim0

Who is esim0?

esim0 is a UK seller run by ESIM0 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales in October 2025. We list its plans for 202 countries: country plans in 201, plus regional plans for Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas and a global plan covering 127 countries. Fixed bundles run from 1 GB for a week up to 100 GB, and Daily Unlimited plans are priced by the day, each stating the speed you drop to once the daily allowance is used.

On price their median plan costs a little more per gigabyte than the market median, and in most countries at least half the sellers we list are cheaper. The company checks out at Companies House. Trustpilot has a profile for them, claimed in September 2026, with no reviews on it yet.

Watchdog notice

Read this before you buy from esim0

esim0 sits a little above the middle of the market on price, with wide coverage and unusually clear Daily Unlimited plans: each one states the speed you drop to after the daily allowance. The company is registered in England and Wales and checks out, but it was only incorporated in October 2025 and has no reviews yet, and its refund policy is strict once a plan is bought.

  • The company checks out. Their site names ESIM0 LTD, company number 16821177, and Companies House lists it as an active private limited company incorporated on 30 October 2025, with the same registered office their site gives. The domain was registered a week earlier.
  • Their Daily Unlimited plans say what happens after the allowance. Every one states the speed you drop to once the daily full speed allowance is used, between 128 Kbps and 1 Mbps. Some allowances come in several versions with different slow speeds, and in Japan they also use different networks and prices. Most sellers leave that figure out.
  • On price they sit a little above the middle. Their median plan costs about 7% more per gigabyte than the market median, they are not the cheapest travel sized plan in any country we compare, and in most countries at least half the sellers we list are cheaper.
  • Our prices come from their partner catalogue, which carries the same plan selection as their store. On 30 September 2026 we spot checked every plan on their Spain, Japan and Europe pages against it, and all 63 matched to the cent. That was a one off check: we have no automatic check of their shop yet.
  • The refund policy is strict. Refunds cover problems on their side, missing coverage, duplicate purchases or a QR code that never arrived, requested within 7 days. A change of plans or an incompatible phone is not refunded.
  • Trustpilot has a profile for them, claimed in September 2026, with no reviews yet, so there is no independent record of their service to check.
  • Their reader code WATCHDOG takes 15% off. We typed it into their order form on a Japan country plan, a Europe regional plan and a Spain Daily Unlimited plan on 30 September 2026 and it applied each time. We did not complete a purchase.

We list esim0 because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

Technical details

How esim0 works, in detail

Activation
Buy on their website and the QR code comes by email, their product pages say.
Plan type
Data only. Their product pages say so.
Validity clock
When the eSIM first connects to a network, their terms say, not when you buy it. Their product pages add that on some plans it can begin at installation instead. An unused plan waits for up to 180 days.
Hotspot sharing
Not guaranteed. Their product pages say hotspot depends on the local network a plan uses and on your phone, so it is not promised on every plan, and they ask you to contact them before buying if you need it. We show it on no plan.
5G access
Shown on plans whose network speed in their data includes 5G. A regional or global plan gets it only when every country it covers has a 5G network.
Top ups
Their terms say top ups may be available for certain plans, and their data does not say which, so we show none.
ID checks (KYC)
Most plans need no ID check, their product pages say.
Apps
Sold on their website.
Payments
Their store shows prices in US dollars and six other currencies, including euros and pounds.
Refunds
Their policy calls sales generally final. A refund is possible if the eSIM cannot be activated because of a problem on their side, if the advertised coverage is not there, for an accidental duplicate purchase, or if the QR code has not arrived within 24 hours, and you must ask within 7 days of purchase. There is no refund for a change of travel plans, an incompatible device, a plan that has been activated and used, or poor local network performance. They may offer a partial refund when an error on their side causes a significant interruption or speeds well below what was advertised. Their product pages also mention a money back guarantee if the plan cannot be used.
Support
WhatsApp and email, their contact page says.

  • Daily Unlimited allowances can come in several versions that differ in the speed after the allowance, from 128 Kbps to 1 Mbps. We list the cheapest, and the faster one when prices match
  • Our tables show the Daily Unlimited price for one day. Our link opens their destination page, where you pick the number of days under Unlimited, so check the total for your trip before paying
  • Their data says your connection may appear to come from another country: Spain plans, for example, list France, the Netherlands or the UK as the exit

Questions

esim0 eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy an esim0 eSIM, answered from live data

Is esim0 legit?

esim0 is a real seller with 2185 live plans in our catalogue covering 202 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. Our own rating of 3.9 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does an esim0 eSIM cost?

esim0 plans run from $1.99 to $839.99. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 40 GB for 15 Days at $22.99, which is $0.57 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.10 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical esim0 plan is dearer than the market.

Does esim0 have a discount code?

Yes. WATCHDOG: 15% off at the esim0 checkout, typed in the promo code box. We tested it at esim0's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where esim0 ranks on this site.

Which countries does esim0 cover?

202 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest esim0 destinations by price per GB right now are Malaysia ($0.57), Thailand ($0.60), Turkey ($0.68). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where esim0 is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use an esim0 eSIM as a hotspot?

Not guaranteed. Their product pages say hotspot depends on the local network a plan uses and on your phone, so it is not promised on every plan, and they ask you to contact them before buying if you need it. We show it on no plan.

Does esim0 sell unlimited data plans?

Yes, as Daily Unlimited, priced per day. You pick a daily full speed allowance from 1 GB to 10 GB and the number of days on their destination page, under Unlimited, and each plan states the speed after the allowance, between 128 Kbps and 1 Mbps. Our tables show the price for one day.

How do I install an esim0 eSIM?

Buy on their website and the QR code comes by email, their product pages say. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the esim0 line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.

We may earn a commission. It never changes the ranking or the rating.
