eSIMzio eSIM review
The short answer. eSIMzio sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 202 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.47 per GB. Its median rate of $3.08 per GB is about 9% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 5 GB a day at full speed.
No editor chose this rating. It is computed from live catalogue data: value for money, country coverage, features. It cannot be bought. See how it is calculated.
Have we checked these prices?
Not yet. eSIMzio's prices here come from their own feed, and we have not built a checker for their shop yet, so nothing on this page has been confirmed against what a buyer actually sees. We are adding shop checks provider by provider and this page will say so when it is done.
A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.
Who is eSIMzio?
eSIMzio is a UK travel eSIM seller covering more than 200 destinations, run by Foldra Limited in London. Its catalogue splits between fixed bundles and daily allowance plans that give a set amount at full speed each day and then slow to a stated speed. Everything is bought on the web with no app, and prices are published in pounds, dollars and euros.
Read this before you buy from eSIMzio
eSIMzio is the only seller on this site whose company we have checked against a public register rather than taken on trust, and one of the few that states the daily allowance and the exact throttle speed on every unlimited plan. The catch is that it is new and unproven: there is no independent review of it anywhere, and a plan is final the moment you activate it.
- Their identity checks out against the register. eSIMzio is a trading brand of Foldra Limited, England and Wales company number 12331511, at 121 Ranelagh Road, London E6 2SH. Companies House shows that company active and incorporated in November 2019, at the same address they publish.
- Every unlimited plan states its daily allowance and the speed it drops to, for example 3 GB a day then 1 Mbps, so our tables carry the real figures rather than the word unlimited.
- They will not sell in Oman at all. Twelve Omani plans exist in their catalogue with no purchase link, because they block that corridor for fraud, so we list none of them rather than send a reader to a checkout that refuses.
- Refunds are narrow: an eSIM you have not activated can be refunded within 14 days, and everything is final once activated. That is tighter than several rivals here, so be sure before you install.
- There is no independent feedback on them at all. They have no Trustpilot profile, not a single review. That is not a mark against the product, it simply means nobody outside the company has vouched for it yet.
- Tethering is confirmed on every plan in their catalogue and no plan asks for identity verification, both stated in their own data rather than assumed by us.
- You do not have to install straight away: their plans carry a note that the eSIM can be installed within 365 days of purchase.
We list eSIMzio because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
How eSIMzio works, in detail
eSIMzio coupon code
15% off your first eSIMzio purchase We verified this code on the provider's own site before listing it. Call it a promo code, a discount code or a voucher, eSIMzio takes one code per order and this is the one we have checked. Using it still supports us: if you buy through our links, we may earn a commission, and the coupon discount applies on top for you.
Why eSIMzio scores 4.5 out of 5
No editor chose this number. It is computed from three measurable things, weighted 45% value, 35% coverage, 20% features:
Value compares eSIMzio's median price per GB ($3.08) with the market median across every plan we track ($2.83). Coverage counts the 202 countries in its catalogue. The score updates automatically whenever prices change.
PROS
- The only company here we have verified against Companies House rather than taken on trust
- The daily allowance and the throttle speed are published on every unlimited plan
- Tethering on every plan and no identity checks anywhere in the catalogue
- A year to install: the eSIM can be activated up to 365 days after purchase
- Over 200 destinations with prices set in pounds, dollars and euros rather than converted at checkout
- They refuse to sell where they cannot serve, rather than take the order
CONS
- No independent reviews exist at all, not even one
- Final once activated, with only a 14 day window on an eSIM you never installed
- No phone, no chat and no published response time
- No app, if you would rather manage plans in one
- Oman is not sold at all, so look elsewhere for that trip
Too early for a verdict on eSIMzio
We found no verified customer reviews on Trustpilot yet, so reputation cannot influence this rating. Until a track record builds, here is what to check yourself:
Most praised
- No independent reviews exist yet
Most complained about
- No independent reviews exist yet
Check before you buy
- Be certain before you activate, because that is the point where a refund stops being possible
- On a daily allowance plan the figure in the name is what you get each day before the speed drops, not a total bundle
- You have a year to install, so buying early costs you nothing
- If you are travelling to Oman, they do not sell there at all

eSIMzio eSIM FAQ
What people ask before they buy an eSIMzio eSIM, answered from live data
Is eSIMzio legit?
eSIMzio is a real seller with 1960 live plans in our catalogue covering 202 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. Our own rating of 4.5 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.
How much does an eSIMzio eSIM cost?
eSIMzio plans run from $2.00 to $215.50. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 50 GB for 30 Days at $23.50, which is $0.47 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.08 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical eSIMzio plan is dearer than the market.
Does eSIMzio have a discount code?
Yes. WATCHDOG15: 15% off your first eSIMzio purchase We tested it at eSIMzio's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where eSIMzio ranks on this site.
Which countries does eSIMzio cover?
202 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest eSIMzio destinations by price per GB right now are Turkey ($0.47), Austria ($0.54), Israel ($0.54). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where eSIMzio is ranked against every other provider we track.
Can I use an eSIMzio eSIM as a hotspot?
On every plan. Their own data marks tethering as available across the whole catalogue.
Does eSIMzio sell unlimited data plans?
758 of its 1960 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.
How do I install an eSIMzio eSIM?
Buy on the web, no app and no account needed. Their plans state that the eSIM can be installed within 365 days of purchase, so buying ahead of a trip does not waste it. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the eSIMzio line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
