MyTravel eSIM review

3.7

The short answer. MyTravel eSIM sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 200 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.58 per GB. Its median rate of $3.18 per GB is about 12% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 10 GB a day at full speed.

Have we checked these prices?

Not yet. MyTravel eSIM's prices here come from their own feed, and we have not built a checker for their shop yet, so nothing on this page has been confirmed against what a buyer actually sees. We are adding shop checks provider by provider and this page will say so when it is done.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

MyTravel eSIM did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.
About MyTravel eSIM

Who is MyTravel eSIM?

MyTravel eSIM sells prepaid travel data for more than 170 countries by its own count, and 196 by ours, through a multilingual website with no app. Its range splits between fixed data bundles and single day plans that give a set allowance for one day, which its founder confirmed to us directly rather than leaving us to infer it from the feed.

It is an unusually open operation in some ways and an unusually closed one in others. The plan feed is public, honest about what each plan is, and matches the shop to the cent. The company behind it is not named anywhere, there is no address or phone number, and the document that should be its terms of service is a duplicate of its privacy policy. It also prices exclusively in euros, so every dollar figure on this page is a conversion.

Watchdog notice

Read this before you buy from MyTravel eSIM

MyTravel eSIM is a seven month old seller with a clean, honest price feed and almost no public identity. Its prices are exactly what its own shop charges, its refund policy is clearer than most, and its plan data does not pretend a daily allowance is unlimited. Set against that: it publishes no company name anywhere, its terms of service page is not terms at all but a second copy of the privacy policy, and it sells only in euros, so every price we show you is converted.

  • You pay in euros, not dollars. They sell in euros only, with no currency switcher anywhere on the site, so the dollar figures in our tables are converted at the European Central Bank daily reference rate and refreshed every night. What your card is actually charged is the euro price, and your bank will apply its own rate and possibly a foreign transaction fee on top.
  • Their terms of service are missing. The page at /policy/terms-of-service is titled Terms of Service but its text begins "This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information", and it is almost word for word the same document as their privacy policy. So there is no governing law, no dispute venue, no acceptable use policy and no liability clause anywhere on the site. It looks like a copy and paste error rather than anything deliberate, but until it is fixed there are no terms to hold them to.
  • Nobody is named. There is no company name, registration number or VAT number anywhere on the site, no postal address and no phone number. The footer says only "© 2026 MyTravel eSIM", and the single contact point published anywhere is info@mytravel-esim.com.
  • They are new. The domain was registered on 2 February 2026 through Namecheap on a one year registration, so it was about seven months old when we listed them.
  • There is no independent feedback to weigh at all. Trustpilot has no profile for their domain, and we found no review presence elsewhere. That is not a mark against them, it simply means nothing outside their own site says how the product performs.
  • Their refund policy is one of the better ones we read, and it is short enough to check yourself. Fourteen days from the date of purchase, nothing once the eSIM has been activated, approved refunds back to the original payment method within two business days, requested by email with your order number. The catch is the usual one: activating the eSIM ends the right, so test compatibility before you install.
  • We do not claim hotspot on any of their plans. Their feed flags every one of the 2,632 as allowing tethering, but nothing on their website states a hotspot policy either way, and the sister platform Tourist eSIM made the same blanket claim in its feed while its own help pages admitted some plans are restricted. Ask them before you rely on tethering a laptop.
  • They sell the same plan several times at different prices, and do not explain why. A country, size and duration will appear two or three times, separated only by a tag in the name such as FUP1Mbps, nonhkip, USIP, IIJ or Premium. These look like a faster speed after the daily allowance and a different exit network, but nothing on their site says so, so rather than publish a guess we list the cheapest of each identical row. If you want the variant, their own country page shows all of them.
  • On price they sit high. Comparing their cheapest plan per gigabyte against our cheapest listing in 196 countries, they did not come out ahead in any of them.

We list MyTravel eSIM because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

Technical details

How MyTravel eSIM works, in detail

Activation
Buy on the website and install from the QR code they send. There is no app.
Plan type
Data only. Every plan in their feed carries no voice and no texts.
Validity clock
Not published. Their refund policy refers to an eSIM being "delivered or activated" but no page says when the clock starts, so assume it may begin at installation and do not install until you travel.
Hotspot sharing
Not claimed. Their feed flags all 2,632 plans as allowing tethering, but no page on their website states a hotspot policy either way, so there is nothing to check it against. We show no hotspot support rather than repeat a claim we cannot confirm.
5G access
Not claimed. Their feed states no network generations at all, so we mark no plan as 5G.
Top ups
On some plans only. Their feed marks each plan as toppable or not, and 1,394 of the 2,632 are, so check before you count on extending.
ID checks (KYC)
Nothing published about identity checks, and their feed records no plan as requiring one.
Apps
No app of any kind. Everything runs through the website and emailed links.
Payments
Not published. No payment methods are listed anywhere on the site, and checkout sits behind an account, so we could not confirm what is accepted. Prices are charged in euros.
Refunds
Fourteen days from the date of purchase, set out in a short and readable policy. All eSIMs are treated as digital non-returnable goods, so once a profile has been delivered or activated it cannot be returned or exchanged, and no refund is issued after activation. Customers are told they are responsible for checking device compatibility before buying, and that coverage and service quality depend on the local networks. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within two business days. Requests go to info@mytravel-esim.com with the order number and a description of the problem.
Support
One email address, info@mytravel-esim.com, plus a contact form. No phone number, no live chat and no help centre is published anywhere, and no response time is promised.
Coupons

Is there a MyTravel eSIM discount code?

Not one we can vouch for right now. We only publish a MyTravel eSIM promo code after testing it at MyTravel eSIM's own checkout, and most codes on coupon sites are expired or never worked. If a working discount code appears it will be listed here, and it will never change where MyTravel eSIM ranks in our tables.

PROS

  • Their published prices are exactly what their own shop charges, checked plan by plan
  • A short, clear refund policy with a real 14 day window and refunds inside two business days
  • The plan feed is honest about single day plans rather than dressing them up as unlimited
  • Top up support is marked per plan rather than claimed across the board
  • Wide coverage for a new seller, 196 countries by our count
  • The founder answers technical questions directly and in writing

CONS

  • Prices are in euros only, so every dollar figure here is a conversion and your bank will apply its own rate
  • There are no terms of service: that page carries a second copy of the privacy policy
  • No company name, registration number, address or phone number is published anywhere
  • Only one email address for all support, with no stated response time
  • No independent reviews anywhere, and a domain only seven months old
  • The same plan appears at several prices with unexplained tags, so the range is hard to compare
  • Dearer than our cheapest listing in every one of the 196 countries we compared
Reputation check

Too early for a verdict on MyTravel eSIM

We found no verified customer reviews on Trustpilot yet, so reputation cannot influence this rating. Until a track record builds, here is what to check yourself:

Most praised

  • No independent reviews exist yet

Most complained about

  • No independent reviews exist yet

Check before you buy

  • Check the euro price on their own page before paying, because the dollar figure here is converted at that day's reference rate
  • Do not activate the eSIM until you are ready, because activation ends your refund right even inside the 14 days
  • Check your device is compatible first, since their policy puts that responsibility on you and refuses refunds for it
  • Do not count on using this eSIM as a hotspot until they confirm it, because their site says nothing about it
  • If you want one of their FUP1Mbps or Premium variants, buy it from their own country page, because we list only the cheapest of each identical row

Questions

MyTravel eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy a MyTravel eSIM, answered from live data

Is MyTravel eSIM legit?

MyTravel eSIM is a real seller with 2227 live plans in our catalogue covering 200 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. Our own rating of 3.7 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does a MyTravel eSIM cost?

MyTravel eSIM plans run from $0.34 to $90.29. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 40 GB for 15 Days at $23.25, which is $0.58 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.18 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical MyTravel eSIM plan is dearer than the market.

Does MyTravel eSIM have a discount code?

Not one we can vouch for. We only publish MyTravel eSIM promo codes that we have tested at its checkout, and there is no working code right now. Most codes on coupon sites are expired, so check the total on the payment page before you count on a discount.

Which countries does MyTravel eSIM cover?

200 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest MyTravel eSIM destinations by price per GB right now are Malaysia ($0.58), Thailand ($0.60), Turkey ($0.60). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where MyTravel eSIM is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use a MyTravel eSIM as a hotspot?

Not claimed. Their feed flags all 2,632 plans as allowing tethering, but no page on their website states a hotspot policy either way, so there is nothing to check it against. We show no hotspot support rather than repeat a claim we cannot confirm.

Does MyTravel eSIM sell unlimited data plans?

899 of its 2227 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.

How do I install a MyTravel eSIM?

Buy on the website and install from the QR code they send. There is no app. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the MyTravel eSIM line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
