PikaSim eSIM review

3.2

The short answer. PikaSim sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 203 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.76 per GB. Its median rate of $4.70 per GB is about 66% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 10 GB a day at full speed.

Have we checked these prices?

90% of PikaSim's plans on this site were checked against PikaSim's own shop on 16 October 2026, one country page at a time. We confirm the product is on sale and that the price is the one they charge, and we take their price over ours whenever the two disagree.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

PikaSim did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.

About PikaSim

Who is PikaSim?

PikaSim is a privacy first eSIM shop selling anonymous data plans, phone numbers and SMS across 190+ countries with no account, no email and no identity check, payable by card or cryptocurrency. It is operated from the United States, hosts its systems in Finland, and is one of the very few sellers that publishes a documented public interface to its prices.

Watchdog notice

Read this before you buy from PikaSim

PikaSim is built for buyers who do not want to be identified: no account, no email, no ID, and payment in cryptocurrency if you want it. That is a real and unusual offer, and it comes with real trade offs, chiefly that refunds are narrow and there is very little independent feedback on a shop this young.

  • They publish their prices as a documented public interface with an OpenAPI specification, which almost no seller we track does. Every price in our tables comes straight from it in dollars, so nothing here is converted or estimated.
  • The privacy claims are specific and testable rather than vague: no account, no email needed, no identity documents, and their terms say identity verification will never be required. Their servers are stated to be in Finland while the service is operated from the United States.
  • No company name appears anywhere on the site. The terms say only that PikaSim is operated in the United States. The App Store lists the seller as CodeBru, Inc.
  • Refunds are narrow. An eSIM that was never installed or activated and shows no usage may be refunded after they check its status with their network supplier, usually within 48 hours. Anything installed or activated is treated as consumed and is not refundable.
  • If you pay in cryptocurrency, a refund comes back as Bitcoin at the rate of the day, not in the coin you paid with. Someone who paid in Monero or a stablecoin carries the exchange risk.
  • Their wallet balance is prepaid credit that cannot be cashed out. Deposits are final and any return of an unspent balance is described as a goodwill gesture rather than a right.
  • Independent feedback is thin: three Trustpilot reviews at 4.0 on a profile claimed in December 2025, and eight App Store ratings. The domain dates from April 2025.

We list PikaSim because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

Technical details

How PikaSim works, in detail

Activation
No account and no email required. The eSIM details appear on the purchase page as soon as payment clears, with an activation link for one tap install, and can be retrieved later by order number. Plans must be activated within 180 days of purchase.
Plan type
The plans in our tables are data only. PikaSim separately sells real phone numbers with calls and texts, and an SMS service for verification codes, which are different products.
Validity clock
On first connection at the destination. Their daily allowance plans reset every 24 hours, and their Forever eSIM is sold as data that does not expire.
Hotspot sharing
Allowed, and their own guidance suggests around a gigabyte a day for heavy use including hotspot.
5G access
Stated per plan and per network, and their data names the operator behind each country, for example KDDI in Japan, so it varies plan by plan.
Top ups
Yes, and anonymously: a top up is made against the eSIM identifier or the order number rather than an account.
ID checks (KYC)
Never required. Their terms commit to no identity documents, no account registration and no usage tracking, and payment can be made in Bitcoin, Lightning, Monero or Zcash through their own payment server.
Apps
iOS app PikaSim by CodeBru, Inc, released 9 January 2026, version 1.0.5, 4.5 from 8 ratings. Android app on Google Play, with a direct download offered for phones without Google services.
Payments
Cards through Stripe, and Bitcoin, Lightning, Monero and Zcash through their own self hosted payment server. Prices are in dollars.
Refunds
Terms dated 5 May 2026: an eSIM that has not been installed or activated and shows zero usage may be refunded after they verify its status, normally reviewed within 48 hours. Installed or activated eSIMs are treated as consumed and are not refunded, and neither are carrier locked or incompatible devices. Card refunds go back through Stripe; crypto refunds are paid in Bitcoin at the current rate whatever coin was used.
Support
Support tickets and support@pikasim.com, with a help centre on the site. Their terms promise an attempt to resolve any dispute within 30 days before anything formal.

PROS

  • Code ESIMWATCHDOG takes 10% off, on card or crypto checkout
  • Genuinely anonymous: no account, no email, no identity check, and payment in cryptocurrency if you want it
  • Prices published as a documented public interface, so what we show is exactly what they charge
  • Daily allowance plans are priced at real checkout totals for each length rather than a per day rate you have to multiply
  • Top ups without an account, against the eSIM or the order number
  • A Forever eSIM whose data does not expire, useful if you travel irregularly

CONS

  • No company name published anywhere on the site
  • Only three Trustpilot reviews and eight App Store ratings to judge them by
  • Refunds only before installation and only after they verify usage with their supplier
  • Crypto refunds come back in Bitcoin whatever you paid with
  • Wallet deposits are final and cannot be cashed out
  • A young shop, trading since 2025, so there is little history to lean on

Check before you buy

  • Do not install the eSIM until you are sure: installation ends any refund claim
  • Activate within 180 days of purchase
  • If you pay in a coin other than Bitcoin, any refund still comes back as Bitcoin at the rate on the day
  • Money put into their wallet stays in their wallet; treat it as spent

Questions

PikaSim eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy a PikaSim eSIM, answered from live data

Is PikaSim legit?

PikaSim is a real seller with 10952 live plans in our catalogue covering 203 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. 90% of those plans were checked against PikaSim's own shop on 16 October 2026, so the prices here are the ones a buyer sees. Trustpilot shows 4 out of 5 from 3 reviews, collected independently of us. Our own rating of 3.2 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does a PikaSim eSIM cost?

PikaSim plans run from $1.50 to $9,765.22. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 40 GB for 15 Days at $30.25, which is $0.76 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $4.70 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical PikaSim plan is dearer than the market.

Does PikaSim have a discount code?

Yes. ESIMWATCHDOG: 10% off at PikaSim, on card or crypto checkout We tested it at PikaSim's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where PikaSim ranks on this site.

Which countries does PikaSim cover?

203 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest PikaSim destinations by price per GB right now are Malaysia ($0.76), Thailand ($0.80), Turkey ($0.86). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where PikaSim is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use a PikaSim eSIM as a hotspot?

Allowed, and their own guidance suggests around a gigabyte a day for heavy use including hotspot.

Does PikaSim sell unlimited data plans?

9359 of its 10952 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.

How do I install a PikaSim eSIM?

No account and no email required. The eSIM details appear on the purchase page as soon as payment clears, with an activation link for one tap install, and can be retrieved later by order number. Plans must be activated within 180 days of purchase. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the PikaSim line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
