Roamix eSIM review

4.2

The short answer. Roamix sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 202 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.60 per GB. Its median rate of $3.60 per GB is about 27% above the $2.84 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 10 GB a day at full speed.

Have we checked these prices?

90% of Roamix's plans on this site were checked against Roamix's own shop on 17 October 2026, one country page at a time. We confirm the product is on sale and that the price is the one they charge, and we take their price over ours whenever the two disagree.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

Roamix did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.

About Roamix

Who is Roamix?

Roamix is a travel eSIM shop selling data in about 190 countries, mostly as day pass plans that give a set allowance every 24 hours and slow down afterwards, alongside standard fixed size plans. It sells only through its website, supports hotspot on every plan, and is one of the few sellers that publishes a documented interface to its full catalogue.

Watchdog notice

Read this before you buy from Roamix

Roamix runs one of the better partner interfaces we have connected to, and its own pages are careful and detailed. What it does not publish is who stands behind it: a company name in a footer, no number, no address, no phone, and a refund that is quietly reduced by a fee it never states. The prices in our tables come straight from its own catalogue.

  • Their refund keeps a slice you cannot work out in advance. The terms give 14 days on an eSIM that was never activated, then say an administrative fee is deducted from anything approved. The size of that fee is not stated anywhere.
  • The only identity given is Roamix Inc in a page footer. There is no registration number, no address and no phone number, and the terms do not name the country whose law governs a dispute, saying only the jurisdiction identified in your order.
  • Independent feedback is thin. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from 7 reviews on a profile claimed in March 2026, and there is no app on either store. Their own reviews page is written by them, not by customers.
  • They publish a documented partner interface with the prices, coverage and networks in it, which is unusual and to their credit. Every price on our tables is read straight from it and the day pass plans arrive already priced for each length, so nothing here is estimated.
  • Most of their catalogue is the day pass shape, an allowance that resets every 24 hours with the speed dropping afterwards. They state that allowance and the reduced speed per plan, which many sellers do not.
  • Their claim of support answering within 2 hours and their 60 second delivery are their own figures, with nothing we can check behind them.

We list Roamix because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

Technical details

How Roamix works, in detail

Activation
Buy on the site with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. They advertise delivery in under 60 seconds, and an account holds your eSIMs afterwards.
Plan type
Data only. Their own catalogue marks every plan as carrying no voice and no texts.
Validity clock
The plan runs for its stated number of days. Day pass plans give the allowance again every 24 hours; once a day is used the speed drops to the figure in the plan, commonly 384 kbps, 512 kbps or 1 Mbps.
Hotspot sharing
On every plan. Their catalogue flags tethering as available across the board, with no exceptions.
5G access
Stated per plan and per network. Their data names the operator behind each country and which generations it carries, so a plan is 5G only where the local network is.
Top ups
On some plans only. Their catalogue marks each plan as toppable or not, and most of the day pass ones are not, so check before you count on extending.
ID checks (KYC)
None. Their catalogue records every plan as needing no identity verification.
Apps
No app. Everything is done on the website and through the account area.
Payments
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, priced in dollars.
Refunds
Terms dated 5 March 2026: 14 days from purchase and only if the eSIM has not been activated, with an administrative fee deducted from any approved refund. Activated eSIMs, part used plans, expired plans and anything outside the 14 days are not refundable except where the law says otherwise. Refund requests go to support@roamix.app with the order number.
Support
support@roamix.app for everything, customers and partners alike, described as 24 hours a day with replies usually within 2 hours. No phone number and no live chat is published.

Why Roamix scores 4.2 out of 5

No editor chose this number. It is computed from three measurable things, weighted 45% value, 35% coverage, 20% features:

Value for money45% of score

Value compares Roamix's median price per GB ($3.60) with the market median across every plan we track ($2.84). Coverage counts the 202 countries in its catalogue. The score updates automatically whenever prices change.

PROS

  • Code ESIMWATCHDOG takes 10% off and works alongside our link
  • Day pass plans are priced for every length from 1 day to a year, so a trip of any shape has a matching plan
  • The daily allowance and the speed after it are stated per plan, which lets you compare like with like
  • Hotspot on every plan with no exceptions
  • No identity check on any plan
  • A published partner interface, so the prices we show are exactly the ones they charge

CONS

  • A refund is reduced by an administrative fee whose size is never stated
  • Only a company name in a footer: no registration number, no address, no phone
  • The terms do not say which country's law governs a dispute
  • Seven Trustpilot reviews and no app store presence to judge them by
  • Most day pass plans cannot be topped up, so running out means buying again

What real Roamix customers say

4.3 / 5 Trustpilot, 7 reviews. Collected independently of us, checked Oct 2026. Too few reviews to influence our rating.

Most praised

  • Quick delivery of the eSIM
  • Straightforward install

Most complained about

  • Too few reviews to draw a pattern from

Check before you buy

  • Ask what the administrative fee is before you count on a refund, and remember it only applies to an eSIM you never activated
  • Day pass means a fresh allowance daily, then a slow lane at the speed named in the plan; our tables carry the allowance in the plan name
  • Check the top up flag before a long trip, because most day pass plans do not support it
  • Support is email only, so there is no way to reach a person quickly if something fails on arrival

Questions

Roamix eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy a Roamix eSIM, answered from live data

Is Roamix legit?

Roamix is a real seller with 20448 live plans in our catalogue covering 202 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. 90% of those plans were checked against Roamix's own shop on 17 October 2026, so the prices here are the ones a buyer sees. Trustpilot shows 4.3 out of 5 from 7 reviews, collected independently of us. Our own rating of 4.2 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does a Roamix eSIM cost?

Roamix plans run from $0.85 to $111,246.15. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 40 GB for 15 Days at $24.00, which is $0.60 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.60 per GB against a market median of $2.84, so a typical Roamix plan is dearer than the market.

Does Roamix have a discount code?

Yes. ESIMWATCHDOG: 10% off at Roamix, stacks with our link We tested it at Roamix's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where Roamix ranks on this site.

Which countries does Roamix cover?

202 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest Roamix destinations by price per GB right now are Malaysia ($0.60), Thailand ($0.62), Turkey ($0.71). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where Roamix is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use a Roamix eSIM as a hotspot?

On every plan. Their catalogue flags tethering as available across the board, with no exceptions.

Does Roamix sell unlimited data plans?

18759 of its 20448 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.

How do I install a Roamix eSIM?

Buy on the site with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. They advertise delivery in under 60 seconds, and an account holds your eSIMs afterwards. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the Roamix line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
