Skyalo eSIM review
The short answer. Skyalo sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 203 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.52 per GB. Its median rate of $3.60 per GB is about 27% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 10 GB a day at full speed.
No editor chose this rating. It is computed from live catalogue data: value for money, country coverage, features. It cannot be bought. See how it is calculated.
Have we checked these prices?
69% of Skyalo's plans on this site were checked against Skyalo's own shop on 16 October 2026, one country page at a time. We confirm the product is on sale and that the price is the one they charge, and we take their price over ours whenever the two disagree.
- Confirmed on sale at our price2,202 plans
A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.
Who is Skyalo?
Skyalo is a travel eSIM seller covering close to 200 countries through its website and its own iOS and Android apps. Its catalogue splits about evenly between plain fixed size bundles and daily allowance plans that give a set amount at full speed each day and then slow down. Prices are in dollars and it runs its own affiliate programme rather than a network.
Read this before you buy from Skyalo
Skyalo publishes the cleanest partner feed we have connected to: real plan ids, dollar prices, per plan tethering and top up flags, and the operator names with the generation each one runs. That is why their rows here carry more detail than most. What they do not publish is much about themselves, and their own terms point at a refund policy that does not exist on the site.
- Their terms say refunds are issued according to our refund policy, but no refund policy is published anywhere on the site. We checked the footer and the obvious addresses and found nothing, so ask before you buy if a refund matters.
- The only company named anywhere is Epic Star LLC, in the terms. There is no address, no registration number, and the terms do not say which country's law governs a dispute.
- Their terms also carry an unusually blunt disclaimer, that the service is provided as is without warranties of functionality, alongside no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
- Roughly half their catalogue is the daily allowance shape: a set amount at full speed each day, then a reduced speed. We store those as a daily figure, never as a total bundle, so a 1 GB a day plan is not passed off as a large pooled one.
- Their feed states tethering and top up per plan and names the local networks with their generation, so the 5G flag on our rows is read from the actual operator list rather than assumed.
- Independent feedback is thin: 4.3 on Trustpilot from 13 reviews. That is close to no evidence in either direction.
- To their credit they publish editorial principles and a corrections policy for their own content, which very few sellers in this market bother with.
We list Skyalo because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
How Skyalo works, in detail
Skyalo coupon code
5% off any Skyalo plan We verified this code on the provider's own site before listing it. Call it a promo code, a discount code or a voucher, Skyalo takes one code per order and this is the one we have checked. Using it still supports us: if you buy through our links, we may earn a commission, and the coupon discount applies on top for you.
Why Skyalo scores 4.2 out of 5
No editor chose this number. It is computed from three measurable things, weighted 45% value, 35% coverage, 20% features:
Value compares Skyalo's median price per GB ($3.60) with the market median across every plan we track ($2.83). Coverage counts the 203 countries in its catalogue. The score updates automatically whenever prices change.
PROS
- Code ESIMWATCHDOG takes 5% off and works alongside our link
- Tethering is on across their catalogue and stated per plan rather than left to guesswork
- 5G is named per plan through the real operator list, so the flag on our rows means something
- Close to 200 countries, with daily allowance plans as well as fixed bundles
- Prices are set in dollars, so nothing here is a currency conversion
- A documented partner feed, so the prices we show are the ones their own pages carry, rechecked nightly
CONS
- No refund policy exists, even though their terms refer to one
- Only a company name in the terms: no address, no registration number, no governing law
- Their terms disclaim any warranty that the service actually works
- Thirteen Trustpilot reviews to judge them by
- Top ups are only on about half the plans
What real Skyalo customers say
Most praised
- Activation described as quick
Most complained about
- Thirteen reviews is too few to show a pattern
Check before you buy
- Ask about refunds before you buy, because their own policy document is missing
- On a daily allowance plan the figure in the name is what you get each day, and the speed drops after it, which is not the same as a large bundle
- Check the top up flag on the row if you might need to extend mid trip
- Their prices already include no currency conversion on our side, so the figure here is the figure at their checkout

Skyalo eSIM FAQ
What people ask before they buy a Skyalo eSIM, answered from live data
Is Skyalo legit?
Skyalo is a real seller with 3173 live plans in our catalogue covering 203 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. 69% of those plans were checked against Skyalo's own shop on 16 October 2026, so the prices here are the ones a buyer sees. Trustpilot shows 4.3 out of 5 from 13 reviews, collected independently of us. Our own rating of 4.2 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.
How much does a Skyalo eSIM cost?
Skyalo plans run from $0.99 to $763.99. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 40 GB for 15 Days at $20.99, which is $0.52 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.60 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical Skyalo plan is dearer than the market.
Does Skyalo have a discount code?
Yes. ESIMWATCHDOG: 5% off any Skyalo plan We tested it at Skyalo's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where Skyalo ranks on this site.
Which countries does Skyalo cover?
203 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest Skyalo destinations by price per GB right now are Malaysia ($0.52), Thailand ($0.53), Turkey ($0.62). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where Skyalo is ranked against every other provider we track.
Can I use a Skyalo eSIM as a hotspot?
Stated per plan, and switched on across the catalogue. Their feed carries a tethering flag on every plan we import.
Does Skyalo sell unlimited data plans?
1451 of its 3173 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.
How do I install a Skyalo eSIM?
Buy on the site or in their app and manage the eSIM from an account. Payment runs through Stripe and PayPal, per their terms. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the Skyalo line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
