Soovia eSIM review
The short answer. Soovia sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 196 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.54 per GB. Its median rate of $3.29 per GB is about 16% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 5 GB a day at full speed.
No editor chose this rating. It is computed from live catalogue data: value for money, country coverage, features. It cannot be bought. See how it is calculated.
Have we checked these prices?
92% of Soovia's plans on this site were checked against Soovia's own shop on 16 October 2026, one country page at a time. We confirm the product is on sale and that the price is the one they charge, and we take their price over ours whenever the two disagree.
- Confirmed on sale at our price1,470 plans
A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.
Who is Soovia?
Soovia is a London company, Soovia Ltd, registered at Companies House on 8 September 2025 with company number 16701646. It sells data only eSIM plans for 150+ destinations through its own site plus iOS and Android apps, and publishes its registration and address openly, including a link to Companies House from its own about page.
The plan clock starts only when the phone first connects to a network at the destination, and top ups can be added to a live plan without reinstalling anything. Refunds are a clean 30 days if the eSIM was never activated, with nothing owed afterward. What is thin is the track record: Trustpilot shows 3.2 from just 14 reviews, and both apps have too few ratings to mean much, so the coverage and pricing look solid but the service history behind them is still short.
How Soovia works, in detail
Is there a Soovia discount code?
Not one we can vouch for right now. We only publish a Soovia promo code after testing it at Soovia's own checkout, and most codes on coupon sites are expired or never worked. If a working discount code appears it will be listed here, and it will never change where Soovia ranks in our tables.
Why Soovia scores 4.4 out of 5
No editor chose this number. It is computed from three measurable things, weighted 45% value, 35% coverage, 20% features:
Value compares Soovia's median price per GB ($3.29) with the market median across every plan we track ($2.83). Coverage counts the 196 countries in its catalogue. The score updates automatically whenever prices change.
PROS
- Registered UK company with public Companies House filings and a direct link to them from its own site
- Validity starts on first connection, so buying weeks ahead costs nothing
- Top up in the account without reinstalling the eSIM
- Regional and global plans carry data across borders on one eSIM at no extra charge
- Refund policy is short and clear: 30 days, full refund, before activation
CONS
- Trustpilot score of 3.2 from only 14 reviews, both middling and too thin to be meaningful yet
- No live chat or phone number, support is email and a contact form only
- App store presence is almost nonexistent: 2 iOS ratings and no public Android rating
- Under a year old, so no long track record
What real Soovia customers say
Most praised
- Uninterrupted connectivity once set up
- Simple, straightforward activation
- Competitive pricing
Most complained about
- Data can deplete fast, particularly with navigation apps running all day
- Data only: no phone, SMS or GPS beyond what the data connection carries
- Slow, email only support, with some contact attempts left unanswered
Check before you buy
- Refund rights end the moment the eSIM is activated (connects to a network), not when the data runs out
- Unlimited plans reset the high speed daily allowance every 24 hours, then throttle for the rest of that day
- Data roaming must be manually enabled for the Soovia line, the most common setup mistake per their own FAQ
- No KYC is mentioned anywhere, so treat any destination with its own legal ID rule as unconfirmed until checked locally

Soovia eSIM FAQ
What people ask before they buy a Soovia eSIM, answered from live data
Is Soovia legit?
Soovia is a real seller with 1602 live plans in our catalogue covering 196 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. 92% of those plans were checked against Soovia's own shop on 16 October 2026, so the prices here are the ones a buyer sees. Trustpilot shows 3.2 out of 5 from 14 reviews, collected independently of us. Our own rating of 4.4 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.
How much does a Soovia eSIM cost?
Soovia plans run from $0.68 to $550.57. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 50 GB for 30 Days at $26.85, which is $0.54 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.29 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical Soovia plan is dearer than the market.
Does Soovia have a discount code?
Not one we can vouch for. We only publish Soovia promo codes that we have tested at its checkout, and there is no working code right now. Most codes on coupon sites are expired, so check the total on the payment page before you count on a discount.
Which countries does Soovia cover?
196 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest Soovia destinations by price per GB right now are Switzerland ($0.54), Malaysia ($0.57), Turkey ($0.60). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where Soovia is ranked against every other provider we track.
Can I use a Soovia eSIM as a hotspot?
Supported on many plans, though some local operators restrict tethering. Their FAQ says to check the specific destination page before buying.
Does Soovia sell unlimited data plans?
204 of its 1602 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.
How do I install a Soovia eSIM?
A QR code appears instantly in the account dashboard after purchase, no email wait. Scan it, then turn on data roaming for the Soovia line when you land. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the Soovia line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
