SwipSIM eSIM review

3.6

The short answer. SwipSIM sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 203 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.57 per GB. Its median rate of $3.63 per GB is about 28% above the $2.83 median across every plan we track. You are paying above the middle of the market for a typical plan here, so open the country page for your destination before you buy: it ranks every seller we track on the same maths.

Have we checked these prices?

Not yet. SwipSIM's prices here come from their own feed, and we have not built a checker for their shop yet, so nothing on this page has been confirmed against what a buyer actually sees. We are adding shop checks provider by provider and this page will say so when it is done.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

SwipSIM did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.
About SwipSIM

Who is SwipSIM?

SwipSIM is a travel eSIM shop that does not say who runs it. Its site gives no company name, country or address, and its domain was registered on 21 August 2026. We list its plans for 203 countries: country plans in 201, plus regional and global plans.

Every plan we list is a fixed bundle of data, from 500 MB to 100 GB, lasting 7 to 365 days, priced in US dollars. In most countries its prices sit in the dearer half of the sellers we list. On 4 October 2026 we found no customer reviews of it on Trustpilot or on the comparison sites that list it.

Watchdog notice

Read this before you buy from SwipSIM

SwipSIM is a shop that does not say who is behind it, on a domain registered in August 2026. On 4 October 2026 its store matched its data on the price, length and countries of every plan, and it fixed six faults the day we reported them. Its refund policy is generous on paper. But the site names no company and no address, we found no customer reviews of it, and we have not tested a purchase. Its prices are above the market in most countries.

  • They do not say who runs the shop. Their terms, privacy policy, refund policy, about page and contact page give only the name SwipSIM and one email address. There is no company name, registration number, country, address or phone number, and the terms name no governing law. On 4 October 2026 we searched the UK and French company registers for the name and found nothing. That does not show there is no company, only that we could not find one. We asked them on 4 October 2026, and they said they would come back to us.
  • The domain is six weeks old. It was registered on 21 August 2026. When we checked on 4 October 2026 there was no Trustpilot profile and no app, and the comparison sites that list them showed no customer reviews.
  • They told us payments were paused, and now say they are back. On 1 October 2026 they told us purchases were paused while they changed payment provider. On 4 October they told us the move was finished and that they had tested a purchase from start to finish. Earlier that day, before they wrote, the checkout page had opened with the right price. We have not tested a payment ourselves.
  • Their store agreed with their data on the day we listed them. On 4 October 2026 every one of the 1,362 plans in their data was offered on their site at the same price, length and countries. That was one check on one day. It is not the repeated shop check we run on some sellers, which we have not built for them yet.
  • They fixed six faults the day we reported them. On 4 October 2026 we told them their Europe page headed a 35 country plan with "53 countries", and when we looked again that afternoon it showed each plan with its own country count. A made up plan link had answered without an error, and it now returned a not found page. Their privacy policy had said the site used no analytics while it loaded Google Analytics and a Google Ads tag, and the new one, dated 4 October 2026, lists both. The "Top-up capable" badge was gone from their country pages and from the two plan pages we opened. A global plan page that had listed only 60 of its 127 countries had a "Show all 127 countries" link when we looked again, and listed all 127 once we pressed it. And their data stopped listing a 5G network on 141 country plans that their own pages rate at 4G or less.
  • Prices are above the market in most countries. On 4 October 2026 their median price per gigabyte was above the median across every plan we list. Taking each seller at its lowest price per gigabyte on plans up to 50 GB, they were in the cheaper half of sellers in 16 of 203 countries and the cheapest seller in none.
  • The refund policy is generous on paper. It offers a full refund for any reason, for up to 180 days, on an eSIM that has never connected to a network. With no company named and no customer reviews, we cannot say how it works in practice. Their help article on refunds is vaguer: it says a refund depends on whether the eSIM has been issued or used, and it does not mention the 180 days.
  • No top ups and no confirmed hotspot. They told us on 4 October 2026 that they do not sell top ups at the moment and that they have no hotspot information for any plan. We show 5G on their country plans only, because on 4 October 2026 their data gave no network details for regional and global plans.

We list SwipSIM because its prices are real and its plans rank on the same maths as everyone else's. We publish what we could not verify so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

Technical details

How SwipSIM works, in detail

Activation
Buy on their website. Their checkout page says no account is needed, only an email address, and that they email a private link to your order page. Their help pages say the order page shows a QR code and manual details, and that data roaming has to be switched on for the eSIM line. We have not bought a plan from them, so we have not seen the order page.
Plan type
Data only. Their pages say the eSIM adds a data line and you keep your usual number.
Validity clock
Their help page says most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, not when it is installed, and that the plan page states the rule for each plan. On 4 October 2026 their data gave a start rule for only 4 of their 1,362 plans. No deadline to start using a plan is published.
Hotspot sharing
Not confirmed. Their own country pages say they cannot confirm hotspot for a plan, and ask you to message them before buying if you need to share your connection. They told us on 4 October 2026 that they receive no hotspot information for any plan.
5G access
On country plans where their data names a 5G network for that plan, which on 4 October 2026 meant plans in 84 countries. They told us that day that their data now lists no network faster than the plan's own speed. We compared it with their country pages later that day, and every country plan their data marked 5G was rated 5G on its country page too. That day their data listed no networks for regional and global plans, so we show 5G on none of those. Their own pages rate most of them 5G.
Top ups
No, they told us. On 4 October 2026 they said they do not sell top ups at the moment. Later that day their data marked no plan as able to top up, and the "Top-up capable" badge was gone from their country pages and from the two plan pages we opened.
ID checks (KYC)
Not stated. No page on their site mentions an ID check.
Apps
No app. Buying, installing and support all happen on their website.
Payments
Their terms say every plan is charged in US dollars. Their home page mentions card payment and their refund policy covers crypto. They told us on 4 October 2026 that they had finished moving to a new payment provider and had tested a purchase from start to finish. They did not name it, and their privacy policy, dated the same day, names the payment platform Whop. We have not tested a payment ourselves. The site can show prices in other currencies, and their terms say those are for display only.
Refunds
Their refund policy gives a full refund for any reason, for up to 180 days from purchase, on an eSIM that has never connected to a network. It also promises a full refund if the eSIM will not install on your phone, and says you are refunded in full without asking if they take payment and cannot deliver a working eSIM. If a plan activates but the network does not work, they look into it and either refund or replace it. A plan that has used data is not refunded. A crypto refund is sent by hand to a wallet you name, with network fees taken off. They ask you to email them with your order number and say an approved refund usually takes 5 to 10 business days.
Support
Email and a contact form only. Their contact page promises a reply within 24 hours. Their site gives no phone number, live chat or WhatsApp.
Coupons

Is there a SwipSIM discount code?

Not one we can vouch for right now. We only publish a SwipSIM promo code after testing it at SwipSIM's own checkout, and most codes on coupon sites are expired or never worked. If a working discount code appears it will be listed here, and it will never change where SwipSIM ranks in our tables.

Check before you buy

  • They told us on 1 October 2026 that purchases were paused while they changed payment provider. On 4 October they told us purchases were working again and that they had tested one from start to finish. We have not tested a payment ourselves
  • They told us on 4 October 2026 that they do not sell top ups. Buy enough data for the whole trip
  • A plan can be limited to 4G on a network that has 5G, they told us on 4 October 2026. That day most of their country pages gave a Speed row for the lead plan, such as 3G/4G, and a 5G yes or no. Check both if 5G matters to you
  • Check the country list before you buy a regional plan. On 4 October 2026 one of their Europe plans covered 35 countries without France, and another covered 31 without the Netherlands
  • On 4 October 2026 their pages rated 104 country plans at 5G while their data named no 5G network for those plans. They sat in 22 countries and included every Nigeria and Colombia plan. We cannot tell which is right, so we show no 5G on those plans
  • If you need hotspot, ask them before you buy. Their pages say they cannot confirm it
  • Pay by card if a refund matters to you. A crypto refund is sent by hand and network fees are taken off
  • Their terms cap what they owe you at the price of the plan, and say an operator can suspend an eSIM without refund for reselling or permanent roaming
  • Their terms and refund policy carried no date when we read them on 4 October 2026

Questions

SwipSIM eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy a SwipSIM eSIM, answered from live data

Is SwipSIM legit?

We cannot confirm that yet. Its site names no company and no address, and on 4 October 2026 we found no customer reviews of it on Trustpilot or on the comparison sites that list it. We list its plans from its own data, which matched its store on price, length and countries on 4 October 2026, and it fixed six faults we reported that same day. We have not bought a plan from it. Read the Watchdog notice on this page before you buy. Our own rating of 3.6 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does a SwipSIM eSIM cost?

SwipSIM plans run from $4.49 to $839.79. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 50 GB for 10 Days at $17.09, which is $0.57 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $3.63 per GB against a market median of $2.83, so a typical SwipSIM plan is dearer than the market.

Does SwipSIM have a discount code?

Not one we can vouch for. We only publish SwipSIM promo codes that we have tested at its checkout, and there is no working code right now. Most codes on coupon sites are expired, so check the total on the payment page before you count on a discount.

Which countries does SwipSIM cover?

203 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest SwipSIM destinations by price per GB right now are Thailand ($0.57), Malaysia ($0.60), Turkey ($0.71). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where SwipSIM is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use a SwipSIM eSIM as a hotspot?

Not confirmed. Their own country pages say they cannot confirm hotspot for a plan, and ask you to message them before buying if you need to share your connection. They told us on 4 October 2026 that they receive no hotspot information for any plan.

Does SwipSIM sell unlimited data plans?

No. Every plan we list is a fixed bundle, from 500 MB to 100 GB. We hold back one Canada plan that slows to 128 kbps after its 75 GB.

How do I install a SwipSIM eSIM?

Buy on their website. Their checkout page says no account is needed, only an email address, and that they email a private link to your order page. Their help pages say the order page shows a QR code and manual details, and that data roaming has to be switched on for the eSIM line. We have not bought a plan from them, so we have not seen the order page. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the SwipSIM line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.

We may earn a commission. It never changes the ranking or the rating.
