Yatelo eSIM review

4.7

The short answer. Yatelo sells prepaid travel eSIM plans in 206 countries, and its cheapest rate today is $0.30 per GB. Its median rate of $1.94 per GB is about 30% below the $2.77 median across every plan we track. On price it is a reasonable default, and the country page for your destination will still show you whether someone there beats it. It also sells plans marketed as unlimited, the most generous of them allowing 5 GB a day at full speed.

Have we checked these prices?

95% of Yatelo's plans on this site were checked against Yatelo's own shop on 18 October 2026, one country page at a time. We confirm the product is on sale and that the price is the one they charge, and we take their price over ours whenever the two disagree.

A feed is not a shop. Feeds can list products that are not on sale, describe them differently, or carry a stale price, so a price nobody has checked again is only a number we copied.

Yatelo did not pay for this review or this rating. The rating is computed from live catalogue data and cannot be bought. If you buy through a link on this page we may earn a commission, and the price you pay stays exactly the same.

About Yatelo

Who is Yatelo?

Yatelo is a travel eSIM brand launched in 2024 and run by Nimbleedge Inc. It is one of the newest names we compare, and it shows in both directions: the pricing is aggressive and the public track record behind it is still thin.

The catalogue is genuinely wide for a two year old company, with plans in more than two hundred destinations plus nine regional and global bundles, and the feed we import publishes the actual partner network in each country rather than leaving coverage as a claim. Everything is bought and managed in the app, hotspot is allowed, and a small number of plans in a few countries include voice minutes and texts, which is unusual in travel eSIM.

On price they sit near the sharp end of our tables rather than the middle. Where Yatelo does not yet compete is reputation: there is no meaningful Trustpilot presence, and the fair use rules on their unlimited plans are not written down anywhere public. We raised both points with them directly and they acknowledged both, which is more than most sellers do. Read the score on this page with that in mind: our rating drops the service component when a provider has fewer than 25 public reviews rather than guessing at it, so Yatelo is scored on coverage, value and features alone. It is a good score with less evidence behind it than a provider carrying tens of thousands of reviews.

Technical details

How Yatelo works, in detail

Activation
Buy in the app or on the site, install by QR code or one tap, then switch on data roaming for the Yatelo line when you land.
Plan type
Data only on almost every plan. A small number of plans in a few countries add voice minutes and texts, which is rare in this market.
Validity clock
Plans run from 3 to 30 days. Nothing longer, so this is not the provider for a multi month trip.
Hotspot sharing
Allowed.
5G access
5G on a large share of plans where the partner network supports it, otherwise 4G. Their feed names the actual local network per country, which most feeds do not.
Top ups
Handled in the app. Their published terms do not set out top up rules, so we make no claim either way and the plans we import carry no top up flag.
ID checks (KYC)
No identity check for data plans.
Apps
Apps on the App Store and Google Play. The review base is small, in line with the age of the brand.
Payments
Card payments processed by Stripe.
Refunds
Their terms say a refund may be considered only where you cannot use the service because of a fault on their side, and the request has to be made within 30 days of purchase. The clause worth reading twice: they are not obliged to refund at all if they fix the problem within ten days of being told about it. That is a narrower promise than most sellers here make.
Support
In app chat and a help centre. Reviews elsewhere describe support as responsive by message but slow to reach a person.

Why Yatelo scores 4.7 out of 5

No editor chose this number. It is computed from three measurable things, weighted 45% value, 35% coverage, 20% features:

PROS

  • Among the cheapest per GB in our tables, and consistently so rather than on one loss leader
  • Wide catalogue for a young brand: 200+ destinations plus regional and global bundles
  • Their feed publishes the actual partner network per country, so coverage is checkable rather than claimed
  • A handful of plans include voice minutes and texts, which almost no travel eSIM offers
  • 10 percent discount applies automatically through the link on this page

CONS

  • Almost no public review history, so there is little independent evidence of how it performs over time
  • The fair use limit on unlimited plans is real but is not documented in their published terms
  • Refund terms are narrow: nothing is owed if they fix the fault within ten days
  • Longest plan is 30 days, so no option for a long trip
  • Founded in 2024, so no track record through a full product lifecycle yet
Reputation check

Too early for a verdict on Yatelo

We found no verified customer reviews on Trustpilot yet, so reputation cannot influence this rating. Until a track record builds, here is what to check yourself:

Check before you buy

  • Their unlimited plans are a daily allowance, either 2 GB or 3 GB a day depending on the plan, and slow to about 1 Mbps after it. Our table shows the daily figure rather than pretending there is a per GB rate
  • A 3 GB a day plan over ten days is 30 GB of full speed data, so compare it against a 30 GB fixed plan before assuming unlimited is better value
  • Refunds are only considered for faults on their side, not for a change of plan
  • Nothing longer than 30 days exists, so a longer trip needs a second purchase

Questions

Yatelo eSIM FAQ

What people ask before they buy a Yatelo eSIM, answered from live data

Is Yatelo legit?

Yatelo is a real seller with 2361 live plans in our catalogue covering 206 countries, and every one of those prices is checked again at each catalogue refresh. 95% of those plans were checked against Yatelo's own shop on 18 October 2026, so the prices here are the ones a buyer sees. Our own rating of 4.7 out of 5 is computed from prices and coverage and cannot be bought.

How much does a Yatelo eSIM cost?

Yatelo plans run from $1.30 to $591.62. Ranked by real price per GB the best rate is 50 GB for 30 Days at $14.99, which is $0.30 per GB. Across the whole catalogue the median is $1.94 per GB against a market median of $2.77, so a typical Yatelo plan is cheaper than the market.

Does Yatelo have a discount code?

Yes. ESIMWATCHDOG: 10% off any Yatelo plan We tested it at Yatelo's own checkout before listing it, and using it never changes where Yatelo ranks on this site.

Which countries does Yatelo cover?

206 countries in our catalogue. The cheapest Yatelo destinations by price per GB right now are Singapore ($0.30), UK ($0.34), Austria ($0.35). Every country in the table on this page links to its full comparison, where Yatelo is ranked against every other provider we track.

Can I use a Yatelo eSIM as a hotspot?

Allowed.

Does Yatelo sell unlimited data plans?

1022 of its 2361 plans are sold as unlimited. In practice they are fair use plans: full speed up to a daily allowance, then slower. That is why they carry no price per GB in our tables.

How do I install a Yatelo eSIM?

Buy in the app or on the site, install by QR code or one tap, then switch on data roaming for the Yatelo line when you land. Buy the plan online, scan the QR code on wifi before you fly, and leave the new line switched off until you land. Then turn on data roaming for the Yatelo line and give it a minute to attach to a network. If the code will not install, our guide to eSIM QR code errors covers every message a phone can show.
